About Katrin Huber

Born in Germany, Katrin Huber graduated from the Technical University in Chemnitz, Germany with MBA in Engineering and worked for the International TV Station ProSieben until 2001. The family moved, when her husband decided to proceed with his medical career in the United States. Having a little son of 6 months and no work-permit , she returned to her first love, painting and drawing.

 

But it wasn't until ten years later (2011) that her teacher and very dear friend, Leslie Belloso, who is a very gifted and inspirational painter, intruduced her to painting with oil.

 

Starting with an art class at Salisbury University in Painting and Drawing to " really learn how to paint" and taking classes with Jinchul Kim – Professor of Art at Salisbury University/ Department of Fine Arts, master painter Louis Escobedo in Easton (who painted with painters Daily and Anderson) and master painter and pastelist William Schneider (who painted with C. W. Mundy) she is constantly working on getting better.
